About
The Latah Aux Comm Mesh Net is a community-built, off-grid communications network for Latah County, Idaho. It is owned by Latah Aux Comm and managed by Do Something Amateur Radio Club, a program of CommUnity Nexus, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We run Meshtastic, MeshCore and Reticulum so neighbors, volunteers and responders have resilient ways to communicate when other infrastructure isn't available.
Good mesh etiquette
- Keep hop limit at 3 and don't enable features that flood the airwaves.
- Keep messages short and don't spam.
- Never rely on the mesh for life-safety. Call 911.
- Be kind. Everyone here is a volunteer.
