Getting started with MeshCore

1. 1

   Get a radio

   Pick a MeshCore-supported LoRa board. Use the same board family as our repeaters if you want to run one.

2. 2

   Flash firmware

   Install the Companion firmware for a handheld, or Repeater firmware for a fixed site.

   Open web flasher →
3. 3

   Configure

   Apply the US radio settings, or choose the USA/Canada preset in the app.

   Join in

   Add the Genesee repeater and introduce yourself. It is live but still in development, so coverage may be spotty.

Tips

• •A repeater only helps if it is high and has line of sight to other repeaters.
• •Name nodes consistently so everyone can tell where they are.
